Leading up to the release of Zootopia, Disney had big New Year’s plans: to saturate social media with #ZooYearsEve. To fulfill this campaign, our team created graphics to celebrate the year’s biggest moments in entertainment with animal-based puns.

Mashing up animals and pop culture, this series posted a new batch of images every week centered around different themes, from blockbuster films to chart-topping singles. Among these, my contributions included Avengers: Age of Bulltron, Ex Yakina, “Can’t Feel My Fleece,” “All About That Chase,” and more. The campaign spread like wildfire, catching the attention of sites like Screen Rant, SlashFilm, Inside the Magic, Uproxx, and more before going on to win a Clio Key Art Award for Theatrical Social Media.
